Joke 5
(Tiên Bác)
A tour bus driver is
driving with a bus load of seniors down a highway, when he is tapped on his
shoulder by a little old lady.
She offers him a handful of peanuts, which he gratefully munches up.
After about 15 minutes, she taps him on his shoulder again and she hands him
another handful of peanuts.
She repeats this gesture about five more times. When she is about to hand him
another batch again he asks the little old lady,
" Why don't you eat the peanuts yourself?".
"We can't chew them because we've no teeth", she replied.
The puzzled driver asks,
"Why do you buy them then?"
The old lady replied,
"We just love the chocolate around them."
Golden Years
A very elderly gentleman, (mid nineties) very well dressed, hair well
groomed, great looking suit, flower in his lapel smelling slightly of a good
after shave, presenting a well looked-after image, walks into an upscale
cocktail lounge. Seated at the bar is an elderly looking lady, in her
mid-eighties.
The gentleman walks over, sits alongside of her, orders a drink, takes a sip,
turns to her and says, "So tell me, do I come here often?"

An elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years. He went
to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing
aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%.
The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said,
"Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear
again."
The gentleman replied, "Oh, I haven't told my family yet. I just sit around and
listen to the conversations. I've changed my will three times!"

Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench under a
tree when one turns to the other and says: "Slim, I'm 83 years old now and I'm
just full of aches and pains. I know you're about my age. How do you feel?"
Slim says, "I feel just like a newborn baby."
"Really!? Like a newborn baby!?"
"Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.

An elderly couple had dinner at another couple's house, and after eating, the
wives left the table and went into the kitchen. The two gentlemen were talking,
and one said, "Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really
great. I would recommend it very highly.
The other man said, "What is the name of the restaurant?"
The first man thought and thought and finally said, "What is the name of that
flower you give to someone you love? You know... the one that's red and has
thorns."
"Do you mean a rose?"
"Yes, that's the one," replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and
yelled, "Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?

Hospital regulations require a wheelchair for patients being discharged.
However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly
gentleman--already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his
feet--who insisted he didn't need my help to leave the hospital.
After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the
elevator. On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
"I don't know," he said. "She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of
her hospital gown."
A couple in their nineties are both having problems remembering things. During a
checkup, the doctor tells them that they're physically okay, but they might want
to start writing things down to help them remember. Later that night, while
watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair. "Want anything while I'm in the
kitchen?" he asks.
"Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?"
"Sure."
"Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?" she asks.
"No, I can remember it."
"Well, I'd like some strawberries on top, too. Maybe you should write it down,
so's not to forget it?"
He says, "I can remember that. You want a bowl of ice cream with
strawberries."
"I'd also like whipped cream. I'm certain you'll forget that, write it down?"
she asks.
Irritated, he says, "I don't need to write it down, I can remember it! Ice cream
with strawberries and whipped cream - I got it , for goodness sake!"
Then he toddles into the kitchen.
After about 20 minutes, the old man returns from the kitchen and hands his wife
a plate of bacon and eggs.
She stares at the plate for a moment. "Where's my toast?"

A senior citizen said to his eighty-year old buddy: "So I hear you're
getting married?"
"Yep!"
"Do I know her?"
"Nope!"
"This woman, is she good looking?"
"Not really."
"Is she a good cook?"
"Naw, she can't cook too well."
"Does she have lots of money?"
"Nope! Poor as a church mouse."
"Well, then, is she good in bed?"
"I don't know."
"Why in the world do you want to marry her then?"
"Because she can still drive!"

Three old guys are out walking. First one says, "Windy, isn't it?" Second one
says, "No, it's Thursday!" Third one says, "So am I. Let's go get a beer."

A man was telling his neighbour, "I just bought a new hearing aid. It cost me
four thousand dollars, but it's state of the art. It's perfect."
"Really," answered the neighbor. "What kind is it?"
"Twelve thirty."

Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical. A few days
later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman
on his arm. A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, "You're
really doing great, aren't you?"
Morris replied, "Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be
cheerful.'"
The doctor said, "I didn't say that. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur; be
careful.'"

A little old man shuffled slowly into an ice cream parlor and pulled
himself slowly, painfully, up onto a stool. After catching his breath, he
ordered a banana split.
The waitress asked kindly, "Crushed nuts?"
"Nope," he replied, "Arthritis...

A Washington, DC airport ticket agent offers some examples of why our
country is in trouble.
1. I had a New Hampshire Congresswoman ask for an aisle seat so that her hair
wouldn't get messed up by being near the window.
2. I got a call from a candidate's staffer, who wanted to go to
Capetown. I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport
information, then she interrupted me with, "I'm not trying to make you look
stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusetts." Without trying to make her look
stupid, I calmly explained, "Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in
Africa."
Her response: click.
3. A senior Vermont Congressman called, furious about a Florida package we did.
I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said he was expecting an
ocean-view room. I tried to explain that's not possible, since Orlando is in the
middle of the state. He replied, "Don't lie to me, I looked on the map and
Florida is a very thin state!"
4. I got a call from a lawmaker's wife who asked, "Is it possible to see England
from Canada?" I said, "No." She answered, "But they look so close on the map."
5. An aide for a cabinet member once called and asked if he could rent a car in
Dallas. When I pulled up the reservation, I noticed he had only a 1-hour layover
in Dallas. When I asked him why he wanted to rent a car, he said, " I heard
Dallas was a big airport, and we will need a car to drive between
gates to save time."
6. An Illinois Congresswoman called last week. She needed to know how it
was possible that her flight from Detroit left at 8:30 am and got to Chicago at
8:33 am. I explained that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois, but she
couldn't understand the concept of time zones. Finally, I told her the plane
went fast, and she bought that.
7. A New York lawmaker called and asked, "Do airlines put your physical
description on your bag so they know whose luggage belongs to whom?" I said,
"No, why do you ask?" She replied, "Well, when I checked in with the airline,
they put a tag on my luggage that said (FAT), and I'm overweight. I think that's
very rude!"
After putting her on hold for a minute while I looked into it (I was
laughing) I came back and explained the city code for Fresno, CA is
(FAT), and the airline was just putting a destination tag on her luggage.
8. A Senator's aide called to inquire about a trip package to Hawaii.
After going over all the cost info, she asked, "Would it be cheaper to
fly to California, and then take the train to Hawaii?"
9. I just got off the phone with a freshman Congressman who asked, "How do I
know which plane to get on?" I asked him what exactly he meant, to which he
replied, "I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these planes have
numbers on them."
10. A lady Senator called and said, "I need to fly to Pepsi-Cola,
Florida. Do I have to get on one of those little computer planes?" I asked if
she meant to fly to Pensacola, Fl. on a commuter plane. She said, "Yeah,
whatever, smarty!"
11. A senior Senator called and had a question about the documents he
needed in order to fly to China. After a lengthy discussion about passports, I
reminded him that he needed a visa. "Oh, no I don't. I've been to China many
times and never had to have one of those." I double checked and sure enough, his
stay required a visa. When I told him this he said, "Look, I've been to China
four times and every time they have accepted my American Express!"
12. A New Mexico Congresswoman called to make reservations,
"I want to go from Chicago to Rhino, New York."
I was at a loss for words. Finally, I said,
"Are you sure that's the name of the town?"
"Yes, what flights do you have?" replied the lady.
After some searching, I came back with,
"I'm sorry, ma'am, I've looked up every airport code in the country and can't
find a Rhino anywhere."
The lady retorted,
"Oh, don't be silly! Everyone knows where it is. Check your map!?
So I scoured a map of the state of New York and finally offered,
"You don't mean Buffalo, do you?"
The reply: "Whatever! I knew it was a big animal".
Whatever your party affiliation, now you know why our Government is in the shape
that it's in!
Alcohol is bad for your legs.
Man
goes into a cocktail lounge and approaches Maxine sitting by
herself:
Man: "May I buy you a cocktail?"
Maxine: "No thank you, alcohol is bad for my legs."
Man: "Sorry to hear that. Do they
swell?"
Maxine: "No, they open!"
